SAN ANGELO, Texas – Three members of the Angelo State baseball team, Jacob Guerrero, Ethan Flodstrom and Nick Wilson, have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team as announced by the CSC on Tuesday.

In order to be eligible, student athletes must have a minimum 3.50 GPA and meet high athletic standards. Of the 28,000+ nominations annually across all sports, about 2,000 will become eligible to be named to the CSC Academic All-American Team.

Guerrero, an accounting major from Colleyville, Texas, had a standout 2025 campaign boasting a .401 batting average and a 1.113 OPS. He has racked up 89 hits, including 19 doubles, four triples, and seven home runs, while scoring 75 runs and driving in 52. A pillar of consistency for the Rams in left field, Guerrero had also drawn 41 walks and swiped 20 bases.

Flodstrom, a business management student from Port Angles, Wash., was nothing short of impactful in his one season with the Rams as he was among the nation's leaders in walks (55) and on base percentage (.548) from the leadoff spot in the lineup. Rounding out his stats, the senior swung for a .376 average with 67 hits, 18 doubles and seven earned runs to knock in 50 RBI while scoring 67 times himself.

Wilson, a senior MBA student from Carrolton, Texas, turned in an effort that includes a 7-0 record with a 5.45 ERA in 66.0 innings pitched across 16 appearances. Serving as the Rams' Friday night starter on the mound, Wilson had the best strikeout to walk ratio on the team as he registered 67 strikes and only 13 walks while limiting hitters to a .275 batting average.
