SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The San Angelo Central Lady Cats basketball team topped Big Spring 46-33 in a non-district game Tuesday night at Babe Didrikson gym.
The Lady Cats were clinging to a 21-16 halftime advantage.
Reegan Howell had a team-high 16 points for the Lady Cats and Jazmyne Gipson had 11.
Central improved to 3-9 and the Lady Cats picked up their first home win of the season under first-year head coach An'Jolique Woodson.
The Lady Cats are scheduled to travel to Farwell on Thursday. Their next home contest is at 6 p.m. Friday against Canutillo.
