It was a milestone night for Christian "Squeaky" English and the Central Bobcats. Just before pregame warmups, Central celebrated English recently surpassing 1,000 points scored in his high school career.
Central started Tuesday's game slowly, mustering only 12 first quarter points. Things changed in the second quarter, however. Central outscored Hobbs 28-15 en route to a 40-25 halftime lead. Central never looked back from that point on, holding on for the 76-55 win. English led all Bobcats in scoring with 22 points.
