SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — A person was booked into Tom Green County Jail for three felony warrants.

According to a press release by Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, the person is 38-year-old Jordan Velez.

"Back in 2022 and 2023, the Sheriff's Office conducted multiple criminal investigations where it was determined Jordan Velez had defrauded over 15 victims out of hundreds of thousands of dollars in money and assets," said TGSO.

On May 29, 2024, Velez pleaded guilty in the 51st District Court to three felonies:

• Theft of property $150,000 < $300,000
• Theft of property $2,500 < $30,000 enhanced
• Theft of property $2,500 < $30,000

As a result of the guilty plea, Velez was sentenced to over 10 years of probation.

TGSO stated that as of September 2024, Velez had committed multiple violations of his probation, and the motion to revoke warrants were issued by the District Court.
