AZUSA, Calif. – Competing at Azusa Pacific's Franson Last Chance, the ninth-ranked Rams turned in two NCAA Division II Top 10 performances in the final weekend before nationals.
Antonio Blair finished ninth overall in the 800m run, crossing the final line in 1:48.29. He was the third fastest Division II athlete and now ranks eighth overall nationally.
The men's 4x400m relay team of Taylor Briggs, Tristan Guerrero, Blair, and Rami Balti clocked in at 3:07.69 to finish third overall at the meet. Their time moves the Rams to No. 4 overall in Division II this season.
ASU will also compete at West Texas A&M's Last Chance meet on Sunday as the Rams and Rambelles prepare for the Division II Outdoor Championships in Pueblo, Colo, beginning May 22.
