SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Westbound traffic on the Houston Harte Expressway was impeded for over a mile after a rollover crash occurred near the Howard Street overpass during the afternoon of Dec. 9.
According to a Nixle alert issued by the San Angelo Police Department at 4:07 p.m. the day of the crash, motorists are encouraged to avoid the westbound lanes of the Houston Harte Expressway underneath the Howard Street bridge due to a "motor vehicle accident."
The department also reported that traffic was "backed up to Bryant Blvd." A reporter at the scene observed that first responders had blocked off one lane of the expressway.
Concho Valley Homepage has reached out to the SAPD for more information regarding the collision but has not been contacted as of the time of publication.
