In honor of Veterans Day, San Angelo ISD campuses came together to honor the service and sacrifices of our nation’s veterans with heartfelt celebrations and events. Students, staff, and local veterans shared meaningful moments as our schools hosted special programs.

Each campus celebrated in its own unique way. Students sang patriotic songs, delivered heartfelt speeches, and, perhaps most importantly, spent time learning directly from the veterans who visited. These conversations allowed our students to hear firsthand about the experiences and sacrifices veterans made to protect our freedoms, inspiring respect and gratitude among all who participated.

From assemblies and classroom visits to personal interactions, these celebrations offered students a chance to connect with local heroes in a memorable and impactful way. A special thank you to all the veterans who joined us and to our teachers and staff who helped make this Veterans Day a truly meaningful experience for our district.
