SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) The Lake View Chiefs basketball team is showing signs of growth as the district slate inches closer.
The Chiefs are 5-8 and they are coming off a 68-55 win on the road against Brownwood last week. Lake View has a 4-0 record in away games, but the Chiefs are 1-8 at home, something they hope to correct before District 5-4A action begins on the road against Big Spring on Jan. 10.
Next up for the Chiefs is the Monahans Tournament of Champions on Dec. 26-28. Lake View is scheduled to open the tourney against Crane on Day 1.
We caught up with longtime Lake View head coach Courtney Bliskey on Wednesday to size things up.
