SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) The No. 5 Wall Hawks will take an eight-game win streak into Friday's bi-district playoff against the Anthony Wildcats at Clayton Weishuhn Field.

Wall is 9-1 and Anthony is 1-9.

The Hawks tuned up for the postseason with a 57-7 blowout against Stanton in the regular-season finale last week. The Wildcats dropped a 66-36 decision against Crane.

Anthony's only victory was a 36-30 nail-biter against Van Horn.

We caught up with Hawks head coach Craig Slaughter on Wednesday.
