SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Construction is continuing on San Angelo's fifth Chick-fil-A, leaving many locals to wonder when the fast food titan will begin operations at the upcoming Bryant Boulevard storefront. Concho Valley Homepage contacted the company for answers, and the opening may be sooner than you think.

A representative of Chick-fil-A Inc. shared that, although an opening date has not yet been confirmed, the location is expected to open later in January should there be no delays. The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce's events calendar states that a ribbon cutting will be held for the restaurant on Jan. 29, and the Chick-fil-A Inc. representative said that such events generally occur prior to the opening of a location.

"Chick-fil-A Bryant Blvd. & 23rd St., located at 2210 N. Bryant Blvd., is slated to open soon, pending any delays," Chick-fil-A Inc. said. "We look forward to serving the San Angelo community and sharing an opening date, once confirmed."

The representative also stated that each new storefront creates approximately 80 to 120 jobs in local communities.

"Local Owner-Operator Jordan Hancock is excited to begin serving Guests delicious food in an environment of genuine hospitality, providing fulfilling career opportunities for Team Members and giving back to the community through various partnerships," Chick-fil-A Inc. said.

Construction for the Bryant Boulevard storefront has been underway for several months, with the restaurant being constructed on land that was once occupied by a strip mall housing Rodeo Western Wear, Liberty Tax and a Subway. The City of San Angelo's August 2024 permits and inspection report stated that the construction project had an estimated cost of $1.2 million.

The store will join four other Chick-fil-A locations currently active in San Angelo once it opens. The other locations are found at the following addresses:
