SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The San Angelo City Council approved an engineering survey to look at the dams near the Concho River for maintenance.
This week’s Our Water story is about the San Angelo City Council approving an engineering survey to look at the dams on the Concho River for maintenance. During the week of Sept. 15th.
Patrick Frierich, the Director of San Angelo City Operations, when asked about the dams said, “Part of that routine inspection we found a few areas that needed a little bit of maintenance on them, there was some spalling and some lift gates at the bottom that you know was a little stuck. So, we just needed to do a little maintenance activities on that.”
The Council also approved an engineering survey to replace lost water markers to define water boundaries in Twin Buttes Reservoir.
