SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — San Angelo Comic Con will return to the Foster Communications Coliseum from Jan. 10 to Jan. 12, bringing cosplayers, actors, vendors and more to the town. Here's what attendees can expect.

The convention is scheduled to take place at hours that differ from day to day. According to the event's website, the convention's hours are as follows:

• Friday, Jan 10
  • Doors open for VIPs at 4:30 p.m.
  • Doors open for all attendees at 5 p.m. and close at 8 p.m.
• Saturday, Jan. 11
  • Doors open for VIPs at 10 a.m.
  • Doors open for all attendees at 10:30 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
• Sunday, Jan 12
  • Doors open for all attendees at 11 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.

The event's online ticket portal shows that adult ticket prices are $20 for Jan. 10 admittance, $30 for Jan. 11 admittance and $15 for Jan. 12 admittance. Tickets for children ages 9 through 16 are $15 for each day, while kids ages 8 and under are allowed free entry. A "gold weekend pass" can also be purchased for $50 and includes a T-shirt.

The convention's website states that several guests are slated to make an appearance during the convention, including WWE wrestler Jerry "the King" Lawler, "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" voice actor Young Maylay and several voice actors for the web series "The Amazing Digital Circus." Multiple guest cosplayers are also scheduled to attend.

Activities that will occur at the event include celebrity panels, cosplay panels, cosplay contests and video game tournaments. Exhibitors selling a variety of pop culture-related goods are also expected to operate inside the coliseum.
