Description
SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State Track & Field teams return home this weekend as the 13th-ranked Rambelles and 18th-ranked Rams host the 53rd Annual David Noble Relays beginning on Thursday at LeGrand Stadium at 1st Community Credit Union Field.
Thursday and Friday will feature the heptathlon and the decathlon while the full meet begins on Saturday. Saturday's start times are tentative due to weather, more information will follow if changes are made.

Competing at the 97th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, ASU collected six provisional marks during the meet. Oleg Ananev claimed second in the men's pole vault with a mark of 5.15m (16-10.75) while the men's 4x400m relay advanced to the finals, taking seventh with a time of 3:09.63. Federica Dozio finished seventh overall in the women's javelin, throwing 48.69m (159-9).
In the Rankings:
The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released the first NCAA Division II Outdoor rankings with the Rambelles coming in at No. 13 while the Rams were ranked 18th.
Quick Notes:
- The Rambelles have tallied seven provisional marks, ranking in the top 10 in Division II in four events.
- Marie Schuler holds the highest rank on the women's side, tossing the third-best mark in DII in the hammer at 60.01m (196-10).
- Federica Dozio ranks fourth in the country in the javelin, throwing 48.69m (159-9) at the Texas Relays.
- Ananev leads Division II in the pole vault, clearing a height of 5.60m (18-4.5).
- Taylor Briggs, Adrian Nethersole, Tristan Guerrero, and Rami Balti are fourth in Division II in the men's 4x400m relay, running a time of 3:09.63 at the Texas Relays.
- Solomon Odonkor has run the fastest times in the Lone Star Conference in both the 100m (10.05) and the 200m (20.39).
- The Rams and Rambelles lead the conference in nine events combined so far this season.
