SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Angelo State University has announced that its Opera Theater program will hold an outdoor concert on Nov. 1 to present its annual fall performance.

According to ASU, the performance, titled "Opera Under the Stars," is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the ASU Pavilion next to the Plaza Verde residence hall located at 1941 S. Van Buren St. The concert will be free and open to the public.

The university stated that the performance "will showcase the vocal talents of ASU music/voice majors, who will be accompanied on piano by Grace Allen and Dr. Eun Mi Lee, ASU staff accompanist."

The program will feature selections from several operas, including:

• "The Barber of Seville" by Gioachino Rossini
• "La Boheme" by Giacomo Puccini
• "Carmen" by Georges Bizet
• "The Marriage of Figaro" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
