SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage)—The City of San Angelo took to social media on Jan. 8 to remind citizens of resources available before winter weather hits San Angelo and the surrounding areas.
According to the City, the Oasis at St. Paul Presbyterian Church and The Salvation Army of San Angelo will be open as warming shelters. The hours are:
- St. Paul Presbyterian Church - Monday through Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- The Salvation Army of San Angelo - From 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. when temperatures drop below 36 degrees. All intake will be done through the Salvation Army website. Emergency intake will happen through the San Angelo Police Department. For more information call the Salvation Army at (325) 655-6981 or visit their website.
