SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) The Christoval Cougars earned the No. 2 playoff seed in District 3-2A Division I after beating Ozona 25-12 in the regular-season finale Friday night at Jack Pardee Memorial Stadium.
Christoval finished the regular season at 4-6 overall and 3-2 in district. Ozona will be the No. 3 seed. The Lions finished 7-3 and 3-2.
The Lions had already secured a playoff spot before Friday's game, but it was a must-win situation for the Cougars and they delivered at home.
