SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Association has issued a scam alert regarding the status of its ticket sales.

According to the association, scammers have begun making Facebook posts and websites to claim that they will be selling rodeo tickets. The organization warns that rodeo tickets are not on sale yet and that these attempts to "sell" tickets are a scam.

"Rodeo tickets are NOT ON SALE yet," the association said. "There are Facebook posts and websites that claim to be selling San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo tickets, but these are all a scam."

The association advised that "only tickets purchased directly from sanangelorodeo.com will be honored."

This isn't the first time that scammers have targeted those interested in attending the San Angelo Rodeo. The association issued a scam alert in early January 2023 regarding scammers attempting to sell fraudulent tickets at a time when official tickets had not gone on sale yet.

The 2025 San Angelo Rodeo will be held from April 4, 2025, to April 20, 2025, according to the association's website.
