SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) The San Angelo Central Lady Cats volleyball team clinched a share of the District 2-6A championship after sweeping Midland Legacy 26-24, 25-23, 25-20 Tuesday night in the regular-season finale at Babe Didrikson gym.
Central finished the regular season at 28-4 overall and 8-2 in district. The Lady Cats will have a coin flip with Frenship (28-14, 8-2) on Wednesday to determine the No. 1 seed for the postseason.
Julie Williams' team has won four straight matches and the Lady Cats have only dropped one set during that streak.
