SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) The No. 6 Bronte Lady Longhorns volleyball team defeated No. 7 Water Valley 20-25, 28-26, 25-20, 27-25 in a District 6-1A showdown Tuesday night in Water Valley.
Bronte improved to 24-11 overall and 6-0 in district, while Water Valley dropped to 28-5 and 5-2.
The Lady Longhorns swept the season series against Water Valley.
Bronte is scheduled to host Veribest on Oct. 26, and Water Valley will travel to Cornerstone Christian.
