SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — A local bar owner who opens her doors to help those in need won $300 as part of KLST’s Pay It Forward Campaign, sponsored by Carpet Tech.

Lisa Casillas is described by the individual who nominated her as someone who is there for those in need with no expectations or questions.

"Lisa is a hardworking mom of four who goes above and beyond for others and for the community," said Kimberly. "She holds benefits to raise money for others in need at her local bar, Lisa'z, for those who need help with medical bills or funerals."

Lisa shared that she loves to give to people that need it.

"I love the people that are not loved by other people so they come here and that's why they feel like home," she said.
