SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) The Miles Bulldogs started the season strong. But an early injury to a star player made the Bulldogs make adjustments to their offense. The Bulldogs clinched the 2 seed in the 7-1a div 2 district after Friday Nights win.

Miles is one of the few teams that has a three headed monster on offense. An elite QB, RB and WR. And boy oh boy does Miles have that. After starting 4-0 early on and rolling, the Bulldogs would face adversity when star running back Tevin Meade sustained a leg injury. Liam Yancy and Cooper Ellison the other 2 of the 3 headed monster would have to rally the boys to get this team back on track. The Bulldogs ended their 4 game win streak losing to non district opponent Ozona, before losing a 2nd straight game to start district play against District leading Albany. Since then the Bulldogs have rallied off three straight and head into their regular season finale looking for their 2nd, 4th straight win of the season and momentum into playoffs next week.

The Bulldogs would jump out to an early 14-7 lead and wouldn't look back winning this matchup 29-13 at the hands of Cooper Ellison and Liam Yancy. The Bulldogs claimed the 2nd seed in the 7-1a Div2 district and move on to next weeks bi-district round.
