SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The No. 7 Mason Punchers hope to move a step closer to the District 14-2A Division I championship with a win at home against Johnson City on Friday night.

Mason is 7-1 overall and 3-0 in district. The Punchers are tied for first with San Saba. Johnson City is 2-6 and 0-3.

The Punchers will be looking for an eighth-straight win Friday.

We caught up with Punchers head coach Michael McLeoad on Wednesday.
