Goodyear, Ariz.- The Angelo State women's golf team concluded play in the RJGA Palm Valley Classic, hosted by Western New Mexico, with two rounds of play spanning Apr. 4-5.  

Round Two Quick Hits:  

• The Rambelles placed 7th out of a total field of 22 teams, with a total score of 593.  

• The Belles placed above LSC opponents Western New Mexico, Texas A&M International, Cameron, Texas A&M Kingsville and UT Permian Basin.  

• Johanna Öhrling turned in the top performance for the Belles, tied for 13th with round scores of 72 and 73.  

• Lacey Stevens tied for 23rd with a cumulative score of 149. 

• Caitlin Vanderkruk tied for 23rd with round scores of 77 and 72.  

• Kelsey Kline ended the tournament tied for 72nd with a final score of 156 through the two rounds of play.  

• Mia Clarke finished the tournament tied for 78th with round scores of 83 and 74.  

• Kara Knight competed the course for the Blue and Gold as an individualist, tied for 84th with an overall score of 158.  

The Belles are back in action in Rockwall, Texas for the Lone Star Conference Championship tournament on Apr. 21-23.
