SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) Sterling City still has playoff hopes and are in contention to the dance as long as some things fall their way. The Eagles drop a tough one but still keep playoff hopes alive with help from district rival.
The Eagles enter week 1 the regular season finale needing to win to get in of course. But all is not lost for this team even with a loss tonight against Iraan who is sitting with the 2 seed in this district. The Eagles although losing to Iraan tonight 54-14, still clinched the 4th seed with Eldorado's win over McCamey tonight. Sterling City moves to 2-3 in district play after tonights loss and will play in the bi district round next week.
