SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — First responders were dispatched to East 22nd Street during the late morning hours of Oct. 30 after a fire ignited inside a structure.
A Concho Valley Homepage reporter observed that members of the San Angelo Fire Department and San Angelo Police Department were at the scene to address the situation. An AEP Texas utility vehicle was later seen arriving at the building.
A bystander outside of the building reported that the flames originated from the attic of the structure. Firefighters were observed tearing a section of the roof down from within the building.
However, an SAFD member at the scene stated that the cause of the flames and where the fire started in the structure is unknown at this time. The member stated that the incident is currently under investigation.
