SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) Angelo State Women's Basketball has their first home game this Thursday at 2pm at the Junell Center vs Adams State.
The Rambelles enter this contest 2-0 on the season after winning both games opening weekend. The Belles will lean heavily on the upperclassmen as they help a few transfers and a few freshman get acclimated to the system and style of play Coach Ellis strives for. The Belles will also look to lean on their bench again if need be as they scored 35 bench points out of the 57 total last game.
We caught up with Head Coach Alesha Ellis on Monday morning to discuss the upcoming matches this week and to hear how the team handled opening weekend.
