Tuscon, Ariz- The Angelo State women's golf team concluded the opening round of play in the WT Desert Invitational, hosted by West Texas A&M, securing a top ten finish with Mia Clarke in the top five individually.  

Round One Quick Hits:  

• The Rambelles ended their opening round of play tied for ninth place out of the total field of 19 teams, with a round score of 328.  

• Clarke led the way for the Belles, tied for fourth with a round score of 76.  

• Lacey Stevens turned in the second-best performance, tied for 29th with a score of 81.  

• Johanna Öhrling ended the round tied for 45th with a score of 83.  

• Caitlin Vanderkruk concluded the opening round tied for 76th, with a score of 88.  

• Kara Knight rounded out the team scoring for the Belles, tied for 82nd with a score of 89.  

• Kelsey Kline competed the course for the Blue and Gold as an individualist, ending her opening round of play tied for 59th with a score of 85.  

The Belles are back in action for the final round of play on Apr. 1 at The Lodge at Ventura Canyon course.
