SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Click the video above for Irion County week 2 highlights.

Friday's game between the Rankin Red Devils and Irion County Hornets marked the first meeting between the teams since 2005.

The Hornets got off to a great start, thanks to a first-quarter touchdown scored by running back Colton Lawdermilk. The Red Devils wasted no time however, equalizing the game at six apiece on the very next drive via a rushing touchdown by fullback Noah Trussell.

The Red Devils continued threatening in the red zone all night, later escaping Irion County with a 60-12 blowout win.
