The Sterling City Eagles and Miles Bulldogs are no strangers to each other; they've now met five times in the past three seasons. Both teams entered week 2 feeling confident after statement wins to open the season.

The Eagles gained slight momentum in the first half, returning an interception for a touchdown to take a 7-0 lead. That lead didn't last long, though. Miles scored responded with 34 unanswered points before halftime, building a 27-point lead. Miles continued to dominate in the second half en route to a commanding 55-20 victory.
