SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The Miles High School girls basketball team has been making a lot of noise in the 2024-25 season, and the Lady Bulldogs hope the best is yet to come.
Miles improved to 12-7 overall and 4-1 in District 8-2A after pulling off a 42-41 win on the road against Roscoe on Tuesday.
Weather permitting, the Lady Bulldogs will host Colorado City at 6:30 p.m. Friday. They're hoping to stretch their winning streak to three games.
The Lady Bulldogs are 4-4 at home and 5-2 on the road.
The defensive-minded squad is averaging 37.6 points per game, and the Lady Dogs are allowing an average of 33.8. They have shown a propensity to win a lot of close games, which could pay dividends later in the season.
Miles head coach Menda Mund talked about what's been working well for her team when we caught up with her Thursday.
