SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The 21st-ranked Angelo State football team wrapped up a perfect Lone Star Conference run and the Rams will host Bemidji State in an NCAA Division II playoff opener on Saturday, Nov. 23.

ASU rolled to a 56-19 victory against West Texas A&M at home Saturday, finishing the regular season at 9-2 overall and 9-0 in conference.

Kickoff for Saturday's playoff opener against Bemidji State is scheduled for 1 p.m. at 1st Community Credit Union Field at LeGrand Stadium.

Tickets can be purchased online at angelosports.com, by calling or visiting the ticket office at 325-942-2583 on Thursday or Friday, or at the gate Saturday beginning at 11:30 a.m.

ASU head coach Jeff Girsch was all smiles Monday when he talked about the warm reception his team got on Saturday.
