SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The Central Lady Cats basketball team battled Midland High down to the wire and pulled off a 36-31 District 2-6A victory Tuesday night at Babe Didrikson gym.
Central improved to 8-17 overall and 1-1 in district under first-year head coach An'Jolique Woodson.
Reegan Howell had a team-high 10 points for the Lady Cats, including two 3-pointers. Jazmyne Gipson went 7-for-10 at the free-throw line and finished with nine points.
The Lady Cats will travel to Frenship on Friday.
