SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) The Concho Valley basketball season is in full swing as District play has officially tipped off. Both the Miles boys and girls played host to the Winters Blizzards opening 2025 with each with a win.

The Lady Dogs were up first Friday evening. A huge halftime lead from the ladies had this game in control all night. At one point leading by over 20 points. Final score 51-25. The ladies moved to 3-1 in district play, 11-7 overall as District play continues for the Lady Dogs next week the 7th on the road at Roscoe.

The Boys followed the ladies dominant win looking to match that same energy. The Bulldogs scored early and fast taking an 18-9 lead early and would cruise on to a 45-33 win against the Blizzards, moving to 2-0 in district play, 11-3 overall and also back in action next week on the road in Roscoe as district play continues.
