SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) The Lake View Chiefs have put the regular season behind them and they're now looking forward to opening the playoffs against former district foe Stephenville on Friday.
Lake View finished the regular season at 2-8 overall and 0-4 in District 3-4A Division I after a 65-7 loss against district champion Andrews last week. Stephenville, the 4-4A champ, is 9-1 and the Yellowjackets have won four straight games.
Kickoff for Lake View vs. Stephenville is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene.
We talked to Lake View head coach Hector Guevara on Tuesday.
