Indianapolis, Ind- For the first time in program history, the Angelo State women's golf team will compete in the NCAA West Regional on May 5-7 at La Paloma Golf Course in Amarillo, Texas.
The Belles will see some familiar faces in Amarillo as fellow LSC competitors Dallas Baptist, St. Mary's, West Texas A&M, UT Tyler, Midwestern State, Lubbock Christian, Texas A&M International and Cameron will also compete in the NCAA West Regional.
The final field of 18 team will see non-LSC opponents Cal State San Marcos, Cal State LA, Simon Fraser, Biola, Cal State East Bay, CSU Pueblo, Sonoma State, Colorado Christian and Academy of Art.
In the 2024-25 season, the Belles have claimed seven top ten team finishes while competing in a total of ten tournaments.
The Belles concluded their regular season on Apr. 22 in the LSC Championship, where the team finished in eighth place.
