SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Angelo State University's Symphony and San Angelo Chorus team up to host ASU's Symphony's 10th Anniversary Concert on Oct. 27.

According to a social media post by Angelo State Music, the concert will be held at The Elta Joyce Murphey Performance Hall, located at 129 E. City Hall Plaza. at 7 p.m.

In the event description on the social media post, it says "Join us for an evening celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Angelo State Symphony Orchestra with a performance of Creation by Dan Forrest. Under the baton of Dr. Fagner M. Rocha, with choirmaster Dr. Eric Posada and Handbell Choir directed by Dr. Louellen Meyer, this musical masterpiece will come to life in a stunning collaboration of talent."

There will be a few featured soloists who are Dr. Jessica Posada and Dr. David Grogan. There will also be other groups performing such as the ASU Chorale, San Angelo Chorus, Howard College Choir and Central High School Choirs.
